Only a few kilometres from the South Tyrolean capital Bolzano, we welcome you to our farm Pizzol in Appiano on the South Tyrolean Wine Route. Some of the best wines come from this region in South Tyrol and many select wines have won awards at international competitions. A holiday on a fruit farm and winery has a special charm: you may take part in the rural life and discover the various activities on the farm.
Family traditions

With great enthusiasm we, the Pardatscher family, manage our wine and fruit farm in the heart of the community of Appiano and pamper our holiday guests. The historic farm is located between San Paolo and San Michele and consists of a 400-year-old historic farmhouse, a renovated barn, and a new guest house.
On around six hectares of orchards and vineyards we produce healthy apples and grapes for top quality wines. Our varied product selection ranges from Cosmic Crisp to Pink Lady, from Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer to strong Merlot.
Sustainability and the respect for soil and plants are of special significance for us. As quality producers for the wineries St. Pauls and Schreckbichl, we can contribute to fine wines with our special location.
Holidays at a winery
During an expert vineyard tour on the farm, you will learn everything you need to know about vines, cultivation, and harvesting. During the following wine tasting in our own wine cellar, you may fully enjoy the fine wines and learn more about them. Our vaulted cellar is open to our guests at any time.

As passionate farmers who keep the land fertile and pass it on for generations, sustainability is part of our DNA.
We do our best – in agriculture and with our guests.
We manage our vineyards and orchards according to integrated guidelines with special consideration for beneficial organisms, soil life and species-rich undergrowth, economical use of machinery and needs-based irrigation.
In the winter months, we heat our holiday apartments exclusively with local wood. Our thermal solar system has always provided sufficient hot water, since 2017. Our photovoltaic system has been supplying us with cheap electricity since 2010.
